Founded in 1994, A&K Painting Company provides Commercial Services and Industrial Services throughout the east coast of the United States.

Our History – Building Relationships For Over 23 Years
In January of 1994 Andy Robbins started A&K Painting in Rock Hill, SC with a small amount of cash and a borrowed van. Hard work combined with a very passionate ‘can do’ attitude empowered Andy to grow the business. For a few years, the young company focused on both residential and commercial painting projects in South Carolina and North Carolina.
Completing larger commercial projects like the 475,000 SF, West Marine Corporate Distribution Center in Rock Hill, SC, serving their 320 stores, the 32,000 SF Summit Assisted Living Center and larger industrial projects like the Tank Farm at Nation Ford Chemical in Fort Mill, SC provided growth and large project experience and success for A&K Painting. In May 2000, Andy decided the company would work solely in the commercial and industrial markets.
We take pride in growing relationships through “TRUST”. Our business growth required the addition of more professionals to our management team and field teams. In April 2007 we moved to our current 5,000 SF offices and shop in Charlotte to assure better service for our customers and much-needed space for our expanded staff. Kevin Robbins joined his brother as a partner and the management team as President on November 1st of 2010.
We work hard to make sure our customers experience excellent service. Business continues to expand requiring addition of a new 10,500 SF Operations and Training Center in the fall of 2011. The addition of the new OTC, less than a half mile from our current location, provides more efficiency for managing our business and the space at our existing facility for a much needed expansion of office space.
In January 2014, we celebrated our 20th Anniversary.
