The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) today announced that the total footprint of commercial projects certified under its LEED green building program surpassed two billion square feet. An additional seven billion square feet is currently in the pipeline across the globe as registered projects.
We have completed many LEED-Certified building projects. Several years ago, A&K Painting Co. became the first and only Charlotte painting contractor to become involved with the USGBC and have a staff member become LEED AP Certified. We fully modify and adopted policy to enable full operational capability on LEED projects and operate a more sustainable business.
