This month we celebrate Amanda Hibbert’s 7th anniversary and Bob Gregor’s 6th anniversary. Amanda is our Director of Operations and Bob is one of our Sales/Estimators and also a Project Manager.

Thank you both for you excellent work and service to the company and the wonderful relationships you maintain for A&K.  We’re very proud of you and recognize the contribution you make in helping us maintain the position we enjoy in the industry.  Congratulations Amanda and Bob!

A&K Painting Windows on Mecklenburg County JailA&K Painting is proud to be completing a second contract for the refinish coating of exterior windows on Mecklenburg County Jail – Central, on East Fourth Street, downtown Charlotte, near the Historic Mecklenburg County Courthouse.

Our award winning safety management and expertise with swing stages is key to this project’s success.  After proper preparation, the metal window frames are coated with a special two-part Polysiloxane coating that provides a long life solution and great value.

Charlotte painting contractor, A&K Painting Company, excels at the special access and safety challenges that the eight story structure provides.  Our trained and experienced crews enjoy the challenge this project’s preparation of surfaces and coatings application provides.  Our team is proud to be able to say, “We painted that.”

Real Estate Roundtable 3rd Qtr 2012 Still Positive But Slightly Lower

Real Estate Roundtable Q3 2012The Real Estate Roundtable Sentiment Survey is a comprehensive measurement of Senior Executives’ confidence in the commercial real estate environment. The quarterly survey of executives including owners & asset managers, financial services providers, and operators & related service providers, measures their current and future outlook on three topics: (1) overall real estate conditions, (2) access to capital markets, and (3)real estate asset pricing. The survey is conducted by FPL Advisory Group on behalf of The Real Estate Roundtable.

The Q3-2012 survey reported that “although still positive, the Q3 Index came in slightly lower than the previous two quarters, reflecting increased economic and political uncertainty and while general sentiment remains positive, many still see a fragmentation across markets and asset types,underscoring the uneven nature of the commercial real estate recovery.”

Sun Valley 14 – Stone Theatres Newest Cineplex in Indian Trail

We had the pleasure of recently completing the new Stone Theatres Sun Valley 14, a fourteen screen cineplex located in Indian Trail, NC.  The cineplex is now open.  Grand opening celebrations take place July 13th through 15th.  The Sun Valley 14 is located at 6449 Old Monroe Road, just southeast of I-495 and Highway 74 in Indian Trail, NC.
