Gardner-Webb University’s New Tucker Student Center

Take a look at Gardner-Webb University’s new Tucker Student Center.  We take pride in being a part of the Rogers Builders construction team who completed the new three story Student Center.  Can you say color – lots of color?  With installation of twenty one different wallcoverings and application of paints, finishes and coatings of all types, we know all about color.  We excel at safely finishing work that requires challenging setups for access to soffits, ceiling areas, such as those found in the multi-story atrium, other open areas and exterior trim areas of this project.  Our interior and exterior finish work not only provides long lasting protection but truly adds the beauty to the design of this new campus gem.

Mecklenburg County Jail Exterior Window Painting Project

Charlotte Painting Contractor, A&K Painting Co. recently completed the refinishing of exterior windows at the Mecklenburg County Jail  Central facility, located at 801 E. 4th St. in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Plaza near Charlotte Center City. We’re proud The Keith Corporation choose A&K Painting Company to complete the project. They depend on our award winning safety management expertise and our exceptional customer service to provide the best value for their customers. Swing stage type scaffolding was utilized to access the exterior windows on the 8 story, 700,000 sq ft facility, refinished for the first time since construction of the building in 1997.   We’ve completed several projects for The Keith Corporation at the MCJ-Central facility and are contracted to complete another project scheduled  at the North Jail facility on Spector Drive in Charlotte.

A&K Painting Sponsors 5th Annual Six on Six Volleyball Classic

We’re proud to have been one of the sponsors for the 5th Annual Six on Six Volleyball Classic.  We’re also proud of our own Whitney White (on left in team picture) who was a welcome addition on the CBRE Team.  As reported on the Beacon Partners website: “For the fifth year in a row, Beacon Partners and Childress Klein Properties teamed up to coordinate the Six on Six Volleyball Classic in Charlotte.  After the success of the inaugural 2008 event, the Charlotte commercial real estate community continues to rally its collective developer, brokerage and vendor resources. This year’s event pitted 27 teams from the Charlotte commercial real estate industry against each other for head-to-head competition, camaraderie and networking.  The 2012 beneficiary, A Child’s Place,  received 100% of the tournament’s proceeds – totaling over $65,000  A Charlotte based non-profit,  A Child’s Place, works to erase the impact of homelessness on children and their education.”  Congratulations Charlotte Commercial Real Estate Community!

CREW Charlotte Spotlights A&K’s Whitney White
