A new member of the A&K Family

A&K Painting welcomes a new member to our extended family –  Senior Estimator Joanna Church’s new baby girl, Karli Jo Church.  Congratulations to Joanna and her husband Craig on the birth of their first child.  We have known how blessed we are to have Joanna on our team.  Her work ethic and production sets the bench mark and her professionalism and skills are unequaled.  We want to share the amazing story and clear demonstration of her commitment to A&K Painting Company’s success.  Joanna worked on Friday, finishing up bids on and gave birth to her daughter Karli Jo very early Saturday morning.  Welcome Karli Jo and many blessings to Joanna and Craig.

Announcing important promotion at A&K Painting

General superintendent Michael Hibberts has been promoted to the newly created position of Operations Manager. With the growth of A&K Painting this new position and Michael’s experience with A&K will provide great support to our project managers and to the new general superintendent.

Additionally, Michael will take over training of all field employees. This includes orientation and our extensive safety training of new hires and the important training of A&K Culture and Brand – how we work.  We’re very excited about what Michael brings to his new position and how this new position will directly improve everything that happens once a project is awarded.
Congratulations Michael

Carolina Panthers and A&K Painting

Did anyone say football?  You bet.  With A&K Painting’s CEO Andy Robbins years of playing football – college back to childhood, football has played an important part in the Robbin’s family history.  Acquiring the PSL (private seating license) for six club level seats at the 48 yard line at the Panther’s Bank of America Stadium is a natural.  We will be using the seats for rewarding our employees and entertaining our customers.  The next Panther target in our sights is acquiring maintenance painting work for the team.  We’ve got their colors, the cadence and of course we bring the very best painting work in Charlotte.  Hut, hut… Hike!

A&K Painting Company Employees Proud to Celebrate Our Independence

July 2nd, 1776, the Second Continental Congress voted to approve a resolution of independence – the legal separation of the Thirteen Colonies from the Kingdom of Great Britain.  Two days later, after voting for independence, on July 4th Congress revised and approved a document some members had been working that was a statement explaining the decision reached on July 2nd.  Of course that document is the Declaration of Independence.
